How to get bluetooth working on Debian Lenny after an upgrade from Etch
Maybe after an upgrade from Debian Etch to Lenny your bluetooth connections stop working.
Read how to get them working again.
Depending on your installed packages set, and mix of repositories, you may upgrade a Debian Etch to Debian Lenny and your Bluetooth conections stop working.
It is because some of packages may have been deinstalled.
You may get them working again by installing the packages I use at my desktop, logged as root.
# apt-get install bluetooth bluez-audio bluez-cups \ bluez-firmware bluez-gnome bluez-hcidump \ bluez-pcmcia-support bluez-utils btscanner \ gnome-bluetoothgnome-vfs-obexftp libbluetooth2 \ libbtcl4 libgnomebt0 obex-data-serverobexfs obexftp \ obexpushd ossogwconnect p3nfs totem-plugins \ ussp-push
These packages may be more than you need, and also, they are not all Debian bluetooth related packages for some other kinds of use, but they worked for connecting a LG phone to Debian Lenny through Bluetooth.
